COMMITMENTS

Eau Vive's actions are fixed in line with the goal of reducing poverty as defined by the United Nations.

Eau Vive helps African communities to:

• encourage local initiatives
• support the projects of the villagers
• meet the needs of the population
• generate a local economy
• develop a local market
• give villagers a sense of responsibility so that they can play a full role in the development of their country
• help the villagers to gain greater independence

In addition to working in the field, Eau Vive lobbies for development with policy makers and international institutions so that their political decisions can be more fair.
