OUR ACTIVITIES

Acces to education

Over more than 25 years, Eau Vive has supported the development of nearly 2000 villages, i.e. a total of 1, 500, 000 inhabitants in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo.

  • Access to water: 700 wells, bore holes, and water sources and 200 flood barriers (dykes, dams etc.)
  • Access to health care: 32 health and maternity centers, 110 training and sanitary education programs
  • Access to education: 55 schools and adult literacy centers
  • Production: 70 market gardening, agricultural equipment, forestry and craftwork programs.
  • Organization: 150 rural communication programs, 230 training and village organization programs.

Over and above the statistics, it's the impact of these actions that counts. In their thousands, children have been educated, women have been able to care for their children, villages have finally been able to drink clean water and trees have been planted. Throughout, thousands of villagers have gained confidence in themselves, organized themselves, directed their projects and are today ready to continue to progress by themselves.
