Exhibition: "WOMEN, WATER, AND DEVELOPMENT: WHAT IS AT STAKE? "



Since the International Day of clean water in 2003, the organizations Eau de Paris (formerly knows as SAGEP), PS-Eau, and Eau Vive have reunited to inform and sensitize the French people on the what is at stake regarding access to clean water. The exposition concerning the theme "Women, Water and Develoment: what is at stake?" was conducted by these partners.


This presentation is composed of 10 panels reviewing the function of water as a source of development an the necessity of the implication of women in these actions.

The presentation is composed of:

  • 3 panels presenting the partners: Eau Vive, PS-Eau and Eau de Paris.
  • 2 panels introducing the question of water:
    • water in the world,
    • the access to water in Africa,
    • the day of women in Africa
  • 4 panels concerning various themes:
    • water and health
    • water and education
    • water and production
    • water and citizenship
  • 1 panel presenting the role of women

In an effort to distribute this educational tool as widely as possible, Eau de Paris, Ps-Eau, and Eau Vive are putting this presentation (available in french only) at the disposition of their partners and all other people/organizations that are interested.
